The 2026 World Cup is coming to Atlanta, but while big corporations profit, our neighbors face displacement and rising costs. We believe soccer belongs to the people, not just the highest bidder.
The People’s Cup is a tournament rooted in community power. We’re reclaiming the pitch to show that Atlanta’s strength lies in its people. Come for the trophy, stay for the movement.

We are hosting two divisions to ensure that teams in each remain relatively close in skill level creating a more fun experience for all:
Competitive: For more experienced players
This bracket is best for those who may have played in college or currently play in a higher division in local leagues
Recreational: For less experienced players
This bracket is best for those who may have played some in high school or currently play in one of the lower divisions in a local league.
-
Co-ed Play: This is a co-ed tournament. At least one female-identifying player must be on the pitch at all times.
Match Length: 12-minute halves, 3-minute halftime
Tournament Flow: 8 teams per division in two groups of 4. You’ll play 3 group-stage games; the top two from each group advance to the semifinals.
Represent Your Roots: Teams must choose a country to represent, preferably one with which they have a personal or community affiliation. Let’s celebrate the global fabric of Atlanta!
